Was I the only one that noticed that Aangs bending was not very good in The Guru/Crossroads of Destiny.?? I mean in The Earth King we saw how great his Earthbending was but he didnt use any of that skill in the Guru/Crossroads of Destiny.?? Azula's bending was not so great either.?? Its like she did it purposely to make Zuko feel better or something.?? And how did Zuko's bending get so great.?? He hasnt been able to practice because he has been in Ba Sing Se.?? Toph's bending was AWESOME I think.?? Katara's I think was the same as it usually is and Sokka never really gets any real action.?? Please comment and say what you think!!!

An explanation for Zuko's bending skills.... Zuko resolved the inner turmoil that had been holding him back for so long. This was pointed out in 'The Chase' when Iroh was trying to teach Zuko how to bend lightning. Of course if that is true, then that means Zuko is playing Azula big time.

Aang's lack of skills points to exactly the opposite. He had more inner turmoil in CoD than in previous episodes.

I'm agree with that!!!! And Iroh teached (I know, that word is awfully spelled, i forgot it) him how to copy??WaterBender style, remember? with that lightenig techniqe, redidirectind it, I think that's why he was able to do fire whips! And I don't think Azula wanted to make him feel better, it's not??something she would do, and besides remember she did?? a??special jet technique... You must consider that Zuko could easily become stronger than his sister, why? Because Azula is already at the top of her skill, since she is a FireMaster, but Zuko is not, so he can still become better.??

That font is much better than the prevoius one!

I would say Azula was having some issues because she felt outnumbered and overwhelmed. Even though Zuko joined her, she was thinking the whole time *watch your back, Zuko's up to something!* The Dai Lee also were just barely on her side. She tried to come off as confident, but in reality was unsure of the whole situation. Also, Katara is a really good bender when she has enough water around. - which was the case in CoD.

Toph was really good, but she didn't battle with anyone like Azula or Zuko. We didn't really see her powers except for the Metal bending thing...Zuko, on the other hand was awesome. He seemed to improve so much and became even more powerful. Katara was almost a match to Azula when she was about to take her out. Aang was a disapointment. He really did anything to protect himself, except for a few counter attacks that he made.

Aang and Azula really didn't make that good a showing of themselves, the final fight was all Zuko and Katara.
This was the first time in a while that Katara has had a large supply of water to work with for her bending, and Zuko was finally able to let out some of his rage and frustration (just look at his eyes when he starts attacking Aang, the kid was going nuts)

Aang and Azula on the other hand...eh, Aang has been known to not fight aggressivly, and he does frequently seem to forget that he can bend 3 different elements so this isn't unusual for him. This is a first for Azula though, up until that fight she had been portrayed as almost untouchable in combat. With Katara it could be that she just underestimated her, she still seemed own Aang to some extent.

but the real reason Azula seemed underpowered...Zuko, it was his big moment to shine in the finale, the big plot twist. The writers decided to focus more on Zuko since it was his big scene, it just wouldn't have felt as fantastic if Azula was pulling off even more amazing techniques right next to him. We would all be thinking, oh, Zuko's evil again...but wait...look at Azula, she's doing something cool again

No way, Azula was easily the best. Did you see the huge wall of blue fire she did to stop Katara's tidal wave? And that super fast rocket move was just the best bending move seen up to date!

    I have a three-way-tie here.

    1) Toph had the metalbending and the 'earth skates' and that she could sence the city 'down there'.
    2) Katara was like WHOA! I mean, I remember back when she couldn't do anything but??waterwhip something/body, now she can launch herself with that water wave, go toe-to-toe with Azula, and did that thing where she went up the watrerfall.
    3) Zuko has gone from a bunch of fire-punches to the fire-whip thing and all that. He's grown up alot, if I can say so.

Now Aang was a little....wimpy. That thing where he launched an Aang-shaped air attack at Zuko was cool, and the thing where he got all those crystals to cover him. But besides that he kida didn't do much cool...if at all.

Azula was okay, nothing we haven't seen her do before,??really. I think what she did that was most impressive wasn't bending, but how she got the Dai Lee, and??later Ba Sing Se, under her thumb so easy.

Please no-one vote twice. I just have Zuko's huge fire blast attack stuck in my mind. You know, when he clapped his hands together over his head and threw a huge amount of flame at Aang(who was raising a shield of crystals on a wall).
