    Sometimes, there is something called over-analyzing. I dont believe there are certain times/events where earth and air benders become more powerful. Why is it that just because water and fire have the moon and sun, earth and air also need a time to be more powerful? To be honest, if earth and air did have one, I think it would actually degrade the quality of the idea of bending, it just makes everyone too powerful and unrealistic(yes I know this is a cartoon).

    this is not a cartoon, it's too epic to be one. but you're right, it would make everything a little too out of proportion.
