Well a lot of people complain that benders are pointless because they never hit with a fist or kick the opponent and I felt it was needed to point out that this is Nickelodeon and if they did hit each other physically the show would be considered "too mature" for nick. With that said I was wondering which style if neither opponent bended would be the strongest martial arts in battle.

Like would water style, fire style, earth style, or air style be more useful if no one was bending. I remember they are all based off of real martial arts but I forgot the name for each >.<

Toph's style is based on the "Praying Mantis" style. And it's a very rare style??as well.??I heard that on Nick, but I'm not sure what it's called, it just might be called that.

??Next time you watch her (or if you haven't noticed yet) watch her arms, and then compare them to Haru... I think it's cool! ^_^

Tai Chi - Tai Chi is less about strength and more about alignment and body structure, breath and visualization.

Hun Gar - Known for its strong stances and rooting to the ground. Based on the movements of animals.

Ba Gua - "Circle Walking" Users move in a circle constantly spinning back and forth. SInce they're always moving, no one can get a solid hold on them. The user can get behind you and you can't turn to face him.

Northern Shaolin - A very strong and dynamic style that uses powerful hand and leg movements.

Out of bending styles for non-benders, I think Tai Chi would be the weakest when fighting in mortal combat.

Well I've been studying and Lightning is slightly based on Tai-Chi Chuan one of the moves was a circular hand movement in the show it moves slow but in real life tose fist would be moving very fast.

Out of the four primary styles, Bei Style Kung Fu is the oldest, right? Is it older than Southern Style?
