There's no wayRoku was 58 at his time of death. I expect him to be roughly the same age as Sozin.
Here's what I copied and pasted from the Avatar page at Nick.com:
"Fire Lord Sozin: Twelve years after betraying Roku, Sozin began the war by harnessing the power of the comet and wiping out the Air Nomads. After the comet, he lived for twenty more years, fathering Prince Azulon and eventually dying when he was 102-years-old. Some say the comet's power allowed him to live for so long."
Sozin lived 32 years after Roku died and since he died at 102, that means he was 70 years old during Roku's death. Are we actually to believe that Sozin was 12 years older than Sozin? I'm not buying it. Besides, if you backtrack further, Roku said it was 25 years after their fight before he saw Sozin again. If Roku was 58 when he died, do you really expect me to believe that Roku was 33 years old when he fought Roku? He had grey hair. Who gets that much grey hair at 33?
There's just no way Roku was 58 years old.
