    His name actually came from the voice of Prince Zuko's last name.
    Dante Basco.

    It's Bosco, not Basco, so that kind of blows that theory out of the water My idea? Bosco is just a cutesie name for a bear.

    my school has these breadsticks filled with cheese called Bosco Sticks....not where the bears name came from..but I still think its funny

    I think it's supposed to be a reference to Dante Basco, but it definitely is Bosco with an o, not an a.
