Who thinks Azula won't be able to generate lightning because of the emotional turmoil going on with her mother, and her friend's betrayal? I think there'd probably be a seen where Azula is fighting the Gaang and tries to create lightning, but it blows up.
What do you guys think?

There is no individual thread for this specific topic, its just the idea that is the same.
I have always thought that Azula's plotline would end with something backfiring on her. From what I have seen from the Boiling Rock this seems to starting after the betrayal of Ty Lee and Mai which is the backfiring of her forcing her will upon others. It would seem that the next logical step in her plot line would be for her firebending power to backfire on her which could involve her losing some of her abilities. Another possibility is that some problems with her mother Ursa could come back to haunt her first.

you have to remember that it takes a lot for azula to lose her cool. i think theres still some more time before that inner turmoil kicks in.
