    Fellow Avatar Fans,

I don't know if anyone has seen it but more often times than not some 'intellectually-challenged' bafoons have made up entirely fictious and often times utterly retarded plot summaries for Avatar episodes on imdb.com. (Internet Movie Database)

I corrected 'The Cave of Two Lovers' which at one time read that Aang and the gang found out that the comet was a lie and then sat down to a spagetti dinner to pass the time away. I kid you not. It really did.

If anyone has the time or inclination please write plot summaries for those Avatar episodes that are lacking them on the imdb.

It would be nice to have Avatar fans lovingly write the summaries instead of practical joking morons with too much time on their hands and internet access.

    Thanks!

Note how IMBD requires membership to post info, whereas Wikipedia allowes random people to post info and is almost always correct. I once found a treasure trove of spoilers of Ba Sing Se there. Awesome.

You're right Phoenix. Wikipedia usually has a lot more information and is usually much more accurate. And as to the registering part someone apparently has registered their name as 'Mike DiMartino' and is writing summaries??on the IMDB! Argh!

It just really bites to have Avatar sullied in any way by persons with too much time on their hands writing such inaccuracies on the IMDB.

Your putting up christmas stuff already?! Your not a chain superstore are you?! I doubt Santa has even bothered to give the reindeer a run around yet!

I noticed the crappy reviews as well but forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me! Surely those who originally wrote the reviews were fans or they wouldn't be on the site? Why or how could a fan blemish Avatar like that?

It's good to see some people are doing something about stupid IMDB...

HOWEVER, there is no need to have everyone go over there and contribute. From what I see all seasons 1 and 2 are correct in terms of episode titles, many have summaries as well. You should more be directing people to fix up season 3, as they have some ridiculous stuff there. Apparently there's a s3 episode titled "Zutara" lol

TV.com has in-depth information on every episode of Avatar. I would not like for people to just steal information from here and put it up there, or perhaps spending their time for a worthless cause and fixing up IMDB. Their site editors obviously don't care about Avatar. It's disappointing but it's the truth. That's how some of those absolutely retarded episode titles get published.

With that being said, I'm gonna let this thread stay open in hopes people do correct the season 3 episodes. But don't feel forced to contribute there. You do have to register for an account and it's just not necessary with this wealth of information here at TV.com. But if you already have an account, I do encourage you to write a summary or two.

You are right Pooldude. There are much better places to get information about Avatar to be sure. Nick.com included.

However my point is that for those who have never even heard of Avatar and who happen by or do a quick search on the IMDB and find Avatar but also find these totally incorrect and utterly ludricious??summaries it would be a shame for their first impressions of the beauty of Avatar to be as such.

Besides the goal here isn't to make one site a better resource than another. IMDB is no match for??Wikipedia, TV.com and the NUMEROUS superior Avatar fan websites. It's to protect Avatar and the beauty that it is no matter where it's found.

And thank you for being so kind to allow this thread to continue. Again how very gracious of you. To whom might I write at TV.com about your editing skills in being so kind as to permit free expression and the free exchange of ideas which may or may not agree with your own?

Your not being sarcastic there, right? J/k

I have to agree and that's a good point you bring up. Should some little kid who doesn't know what Nick.com or TV.com or ASN are and goes to IMDB first would certainly get the wrong idea about Avatar
