If uve seen the episode ''The Warriors Of Kyoshi'', u might have noticed that the avatar Kyoshi has been born??there over??400 years ago. with a bit of calculation ull find out that avatars appearently reach an age of about 150 years! I mean, thats a pretty high age right?

ofcourse each avatar will reach another??age then the other, but still... I guess Aang will be the oldest avatar ever lived, considering he'll reach an age of about 250 years (100 years in the iceberg), ofcourse only if he wont get killed before that . Also dont forget King Bomi... appearently avatars arent the only one getting that old.

This means that there still have to be a lot of airbenders left from before the war. I dont believe they all??got killed by FN soldiers... certainly not if u remind what Iroh told about the Air Nomads: ''Air is the element of freedom. The Air Nomads detached themselfs from worldly concerns and found peace and freedom.'' They couldnt have possibly been killed all with such a need for freedom and peace...

maybe u know what i mean now

sure they will. how else would the world be able to keep balance, if one of the 4 element-civilizations would be gone?
ofcourse the people from the Northern Air Temple could learn how to bend air, considering they already have the spirit to do so, but i dont think that'll happen...

Well...Sister Ilo(that female Airbender from "Appa's Lost Days") was actually 87...so it's not to inconcievable that ppl lived to be 150ish...in fact according to the Bible people living to be over 150 was pretty common(not a religous discussion just pointing something out)

That's actually an interesting point.?? Too bad the reincarnation doesn't bring the same wisdom from the previous Avatar but then we wouldn't have a show because Aang would already know the other elements.?? Lol.

Zuko wasnt surprised that the avatar still lived at an age of 112 years. also, when he broke into the little water tribe village (in which Sokka and Katara lived) he pulled out Gran Gran and says that the avatar's about that age. appearently he doesnt think its strange that someone has such an high age.

    that's a good point.

someone who's so balanced with nature, and lives such a healthy lifestyle... yeah, I think the avatar would live for a long time.

And think about this, the Avatar world is a different planet so possible the planet revolves around its sun for probably a shorter time (I'm talking less than 365 normal earth days). But then again, in a different subject, the avatar doesn't have the time to goof around if they have less days.

srry to disappoint you, but the planet wouldnt be able to live on for humans anymore then. highly complicated, dont make me explain the whole thing hehe...

    i guess so

btw, the average age of people on our world (sounds weird, doesnt it? ) is below 40 year if i remind it correctly. ofcourse this is because of the many murders in Africa and the deseases all around the world (ofcourse a lot of other reasens, but these r the most important ones).
i know this doesnt have anything to do with the avatar show, but i just wanted u to know that we havent changed much since the middle ages, and we have improved only a little tiny bit since then...

    i wish u a pleasent day
