Just came back from watching the forbidden kingdom and I could not help to notice how much like avatar this movie is. The epic backgrounds, long journey through different types of environments and towns. (specially the monks at the end) The training with the masters. the magical elements that at times seemed like bending. Also another similarity is that of the four characters taking the journey ala avatar. It was a great movie and I recommend it to all AVATARDS to go see. Since in my opinion this is the style in which "the last air-bender" should be made. Plus is Jet Li and Jackie Chan in the same movie Awesome!!!!!

it is a recycled plot but is not the plot that amazed me it was more of the adventure.

this movie is about a monkey king and a pole which reminded me of Dragonball which is about a monkey boy with a pole.... youll see!!!

I would say all the parts where no one is actually acting are good. They don't do so good with the words. Not a great movie, but pretty light-hearted and fun.
