I??don't know if you guys already knew this, but according to tv.com, Avatar: The Last Airbender is the most popular board on tv.com. We are leading with 21,433 posts while the runner-up, Gilmore Girls is at 16,517. That's more than 4,000 posts we're leading by! I find this impressive since there are a bunch more shows more popular than Avatar, such as American Idol or Lost. I guess Avatar fans love to talk more.

I think that the system for rating shows is extreamly out of date.?? Just look at this.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nielsen_Ratings

    :
Nielsen Television Ratings statistics are gathered in two ways: one is by extensive use of surveys, where viewers in various demographics are asked to keep a written record (called a diary) of the television programming they watch throughout the day and evening. The other is by the use of a limited number of Set Meters, which are small computers connected to all the televisions in a home.

In other words they measure a very small persentage of the population and half of??the??gathered information is whatever a person tells them what they watch.??

In other words for all we know Avatar could be the #1 show and it just doesn't show in the regular stats.

The original poster wasn't talking about Neilson Ratings, they were talking about the amount of traffic on this Avatar forum on TV.com
