Dak(White fire)
Things have been stolen.

Dak went to check his room as soon as they found everything was missing. To his dissapointment, both his sword and his sewing kit were gone. Every bolt of fireflower cloth they had brought in the supply bags was gone as well. He swore loudly. It was a long and difficult process to turn fireflower petals into cloth. And that sword, needless as it was, had held him through some major battles since he got it from the armory in Ru-Kabe.
He went to check on Sayo. Sayo was dismayed. It appears he had lost a box that had his parents belonging in it.
"It was all I had left of them. What am I going to do?"
"It's not what you had left, it's what you have left. I'm going to get our stuff back." Dak awkwardly reached to put his hand on Sayo's shoulder, but retracted it. Dak had always wanted something to remember his parents by, and now Sayo had lost his only link. But he couldn't bring himself to show it.
"Dak, there's a guy hanging around outside, I think he was there when we left. We're going to go ask him some questions. You're coming, right?" Bai Mao stuck his head in and asked.
"Yeah. I'm going to hang this guy up by his fingers, dirty theif. I told you about this place." Dak replied.
"I know, I know, rub it in, it was our only plan." Bai Mao said.
Dak started to walk out past him, but he was stopped by Sayo.
"I'm coming with you. I need to get my box back."
Dak looked over to Bai Mao. Bai Mao shook his head.
"No, you should stay here and make sure the rest of our stuff isn't taken." He motioned to the pile of bags in the corner with their sleeping gear and some food in them.
"Fine. Here Dak, since your sword was stolen." Sayo pulled his robe back and removed the concealed wakizashi from his waist, handing it to Dak. Dak took it, but didn't put it on.
"Great, but I don't need it."
"I do, they took my pudao. And Reiji's knife..." Bai Mao trailed off, glaring at the floor.
Dak handed the sword to him. After he fastened it to his waist, they left the room and got Chase, who had also kept his sword with him.
"Okay, that's the guy. The one leaning against the wall on the porch." Bai Mao pointed across to the right at a small run-down shack.
They walked out the door, and snuck across the dirt path to the shack. The man was whistling a tune that oarsmen use when rowing at sea, but he wasn't any type of muscular. Dak figured he must be a simple overseer of the rowers on some pirate ship. This same fact would make him easy to intimidate.
Bai Mao appeared out of the darkness first, startling the man.
"Oy! Watch who you sneak up on, boy. Could get you killed in this-"
"Shut up." Dak growled, cutting him off. He and Chase also stepped into the light of a lamp on the porch.
The man worriedly looked at each of them. Bai Mao started.
"You were here earlier. Did you see anyone go into that inn while we were gone?"
"Well... I don't know. It was dark, and I ain't got no memory worth braggin' for..." the man smirked as he talked.
Bai Mao sighed. "I'll ask you again, who went into our rooms when we were gone? I want to know where they are."
"I told you, the sun was setting and it got in my eyes, couldn't say, really." he was chuckling now. He started laughing louder and louder as Bai Mao gave him a hard stare.
Dak bared his teeth. They didn't have time for this fool.
"Really sorry, lads. Big dust storm picked up and I-" He couldn't talk because Dak had lifted him of the ground by his throat and slammed him against the wall. He sputtered as he gasped for breath. Dak lit a fire blade and stabbed it through the wall on both sides of his head, inches from his face.
"Start talking, or I'll tear your heart out and show it to you." Dak said in a menacing low growl.
"You... you w-wouldn't do that, would you?" he said between gasping breaths.
"Try me." Dak said in that same low tone. He heated his hand up and stuck his fingers on his chest above the heart. Dak began pushing them into his skin and twisting his fingers. The man started screaming.
Bai Mao noticed this, and thought it would be best to keep quiet. "Better start talking, he'd do it, trust me. Without a second thought. He'd probably enjoy it too." he said quickly.
"Okay, okay. Don't kill me! I'll talk, I'll talk!"
Dak stopped burning him. "Do so quickly, I don't have any patience left tonight."
"Okay, I saw the guy. His name is Wei. He's a black market trader who steals from the visitors at the inn and sells their stuff."
"Where is he?" Bai mao was asking questions again.
"I don't know where he hides, but I know where his favorite hangout is, the owner would know."
The man told them where the bar was, and that the owner would be at the main bar at the back.
"I've told you all I konw. Please, don't kill me!" he begged, still being held in the air by Dak.
"He could talk." Dak grunted, clearly not wanting him breathing.
"We don't have to kill him... Knock him out and toss him in the shack."
Before he could speak, Dak slammed his face against the railing of the porch and bodily tossed him through the door.
"Damn, Dak. hit him hard enough?" Chase whistled.
"No."
"Enough, we need to check out this bar." Bai Mao interjected.
The bar was down the street, and they quickly reached it. Bai Mao stopped them before they entered. "Let me do the talking this time, Dak. This guy doesn't know that we've been stolen from. We can trick him." Dak rolled his eyes, but agreed.
They entered the bar, which was empty this late. A grizzled man was wiping down the back counter. Bai Mao walked up to him and sat on a stool. Chase sat down next to him and Dak stood to the side with his arms crossed.
"What can I get you fine folks to drink?" the bartender grunted as he eyed them over.
"Nothing, we just need to find a man named Wei. I'm a fellow merchant and I heard he recently came into some merchandise."
"Merchant, eh? Who're these clowns?" he pointed at Dak and Chase.
Before they could speak, Bai Mao started talking again. "This," he motioned at Chase, "Is an associate. And the other one is my bodyguard. He's mute."
Dak gave Bai Mao a "You're sh*tting me" look. But, he obliged, cracking his knuckles and snorting fire out his nose.
"Yeah, bodyguard... Fine. Wei has a little cave in the forest to the east where he stashes his stuff. You just got to go straight out the door and keep walking, you can't miss it."
"Thanks, friend." Bai Mao bowed slightly, and they all turned and left.
Outside, Chase stopped. Dak and Bai Mao turned and told him to hurry up.
"Wait, this is too good to be true. That guy had to be jerking our chain."
"It's possible... but what of it? Where should we look?" Bai Mao replied.
"Wait. I see someone coming out of the bar." Dak pointed out.
A man walked through the door, and quickly crossed the street, settling into a hurried walk north towards the end of town. He was frequently checking to make sure he wasn't followed.
"That guy, see? He's going to warn Wei about us." Chase boasted.
"Nice call. Let's follow him." Bai Mao complimented.
They stayed a good ways behind the man, on the opposite side of the street. A few minutes walk later, they reached yet another shack. The town was a sea of run down shantys. This time, the man stopped and really check to make sure there was no one following. He turned back and started for the door.
"Dak, it would be better if they didn't know we were coming." Bai Mao suggested.
"Got it."
He ran off, disappearing into the shadows. A few seconds later, he had closed the gap between himself and the man. Dak leapt into the air and reached for the man's neck. Half a second before it made contact, he lit a fire blade, sinking his hand deep into the neck, severing the spinal cord and jugular instantly. To Chase and Bai Mao, it was a brief flash and a dull thud. They caught up with Dak and Bai Mao said they were going around the back.
"Stay at the front door. Make sure they don't escape."
Dak nodded. Chase and Bai Mao drew their swords and went around the back of the shack. Dak waited at the front with his arms crossed. There were the sounds of a door being kicked in, a yell, and the sounds of swords being drawn. A few clangs and more shouts and grunts later, Two guys burst out the front door. Dak caught one in a clothesline with his left arm and wrapped him into a tight headlock. The other almost got past, but Dak caught his collar and his own momentum swept his feet out. Dak looked back and another was running out. Dak had no way to stop him. Fortunately, Chase ran up behind him and cut the back of his knees, sending him sliding across the ground. Dak stepped over him and cracked the man he had in the headlock on the head against the doorway. Dak dropped him and kneed the other in the face, letting him go as well.
Bai Mao had his sword against the neck of a finely dressed man, wearing gold and silk, with jade jewelry. It was obviously Wei.
"What? What do you fools want?" he demanded.
"We want to know where our stuff is. You stole from us." Chase snapped.
"Ah, so you're the idiots who left all of their stuff sitting out for the taking. Ha, stole is an overstatement!" he laughed in Bai Mao's face. "Besides, I already moved it, been sold. So sorry."
"Don't lie to us. We killed the bartender when he did that, and all of the guys in the bar. He even sent a runner to warn you. That's all that's left of that guy." Bai Mao pointed at Dak's bloody hands.
Dak scowled at him and Wei looked at both of the sword that were pointed at his face. "Okay. I give. I have a cave to the east. I keep all of my goods there. Take what you want. Just leave me alone."
"The bartender said the same. Why shouldn't we kill you too?"
"Because, it seems, you killed an honest man. We're both telling the truth." he replied.
They tied Wei up and gagged him. After it was done, Chase suggested that they should get the others so they could leave when they got their stuff from the cave. Bai Mao agreed. They'd been in Sofun for less than 12 hours and the place was already giving them all kinds of grief.
They walked the long way south back the the inn, but weren't greeted by the group sitting around relaxing. Instead, there were fifteen pirates surrounding them, fully armed and closing in.
"Ah, hell." Dak sighed.
