Even though Kempa hadn't rested enough Siam encouraged him to fly far away from the fire-nation troops. It had gotten cold that evening and even though the weather had gotten a little chillier in the evenings the wind had changed in their favor making the trip easier.

But even with the smooth sailing things were terrible. Mizuhiro finally had awoken from his long period of unconsciousness only to become sick with fever. During the long nights they took off his clothes so the wind could cool him off but Mizuhiro's fever persisted. Even in his sleep Mizuhiro seemed to be in pain. He would whisper, "Don't kill her. I, I love...," and, "Father we must escape." Siam didn't know what to do. When Siam got sick she would rely on her parents to comfort her but they weren't... here. Siam started to shake but calmed herself and focused. With the fire-nation closing in on them she could lose herself, not now.

As Siam brooded someone tapped on her shoulder causing her to jump. She turned around to see Master Ikasoruk squatting behind her. He motioned for her to come to the front of Kempa's saddle where they could talk.

"He won't live much longer in this condition," said Master Ikasoruk, "we need to land somewhere next to a body of water so we can submerse him so his temperature will go down". Siam only nodded to this then turned and leapt onto Kempa's neck, "Okay buddy, we need to find some water and land next to it." Kempa flew low over the trees as they looked for some water. A moment later Siam found it. It was a shallow water fall next to a grassy bank. Pointing Kempa in the right direction she yelled, "Yip, yip!"

Kempa spiraled down at an alarming rate only to pull up a minute later as he touched the ground. Siam immediately jumped down and helped carry Mizuhiro but the moment she touched him she recoiled from the heat. Master Ikasoruk counterbalanced the boy's weight and carried him over to the pool submersing Mizuhiro's entire body except for his head. As his temperature went down they pulled him out of the water and let Mizuhiro sleep on Kempa while they set up camp.

After camp was set up and they had a fire going Siam made a small meal out of their provisions. They then went and woke up Mizuhiro long enough to feed him a little soup. He went to sleep soundly a few minutes later as they ate their meal in quiet. But as Siam ate, something bothered her. For his temperature to be that high he would have been dead hours ago. Master Ikasoruk saw her concern and spoke.

"Fire-bender can become sick but what Lord Mizuhiro has is different from normal sickness. What you see happening to him is the result of when a fire-bender loses control of his emotions. "

Siam replied, "His emotions?"

"Precisely, his emotions. You see emotions can affect us more than we realize. Emotions can affect our health and self control and to this extent our actions. When you are angry do you burn up or feel hot headed? For fire-benders who are novice at controlling their fire-bending or their feelings the two become the same thing."

Siam thought the whole philosophical discussion was a little bit weird but Master Ikasoruk continued.

"For some people emotions like anger can improve the strength of their bending ability. But when left unchecked and misused anger can destroy a person. This is what you see happening with Lord Mizuhiro."

Siam had been holding on to her questions but now only one came to mind.

"What must we do to help him?"

Master Ikasoruk chuckled to himself, "We? (We) can do nothing. It is all up to him whether or not he will let his anger destroy him or not. If anything we can encourage his decision and nothing else."

And with that he fell asleep leaving Siam to ponder as she stared at the dying embers turning to soot.

Dosu Kinuta, currently conracted to hunt down and capture "dangerous convict"

"So, you're what they call a dangerous convict around these parts? You don't look too tough," asked Dosu Kinuta, a private contractor who had been hired to find an escaped convict.

"Looks can be deceiving, boy," the girl replied.

"Boy? Ah, I see, you take out a few big muscular guys with some fancy waterbending and you're automatically the almighty queen of the universe."

"Hehe, come on, Silent Walker. You can't even bend. No element, no power. That's how it's always been, that's how it always will be."

"You're barking down the wrong tree little girl. I've taken waterbenders twice your skill level without breaking a sweat. But if you want this so bad, so be it. Fighting is my lifestyle, my purpose."

"Without bending you're about as dangerous as that fat bear the Earth King keeps around."

"Well bears have been known to be quite dangerous."

"Enough talk, I have places to go."

The woman brought forth entire river the two were facing eachother in. The water raised high and seemed sure to crush him, but Dosu jumped far to the right, and threw a knife at the girl's form through the towering current. It sliced her just on the cheek, and she became furious.

"You little! That's the only hit you'll get!"

Dosu landed clear of the stream as it gushed past, but it reformed in a circle standing over ten feet around him. It began closing in, slowly, Dosu could feel it's warmth being drained, the first signs of her attempts at making an icy tomb for him. He bent down, and jumped, doing a backflip in the air. She looked up in disbelief as he slammed onto the ground, throwing two more knives in her direction. She dodged them, almost as if it were too easy. The water reformed into a huge torrent brought above him, but Dosu looked up and did a side roll out of the way into the jagged rocks beneath the still flowing stream. More water rose from the stream, and he felt water going up his legs. She was trying to root him down. He jumped free of the water as it froze to icy shackles and landed on a large boulder standing in the stream.

"You're making a big mistake, girl. Just come quietly. You're wanted alive. Don't make me kill you."

"Just try it!"

She brought forth the entire stream, all the water flew from the jagged rocks that laid at it's bottom and it came in three massive crashing waves on him. He jumped from the rock, flipped through the air, and dodged the first one. The second one flew towards him and he landed on the ground and immediately launched into the air again. It crashed but reformed and came with the second one. Dosu flipped and touched the ground, jumped, jumped again off a tree, and got sight of her. He threw another knife, but this one slammed into a boulder by her.

She thought to herself, "Is he intentionally missing me or does he really suck that much?" She twisted around and sent another blast of water at him, and then reformed the torrent already chasing him into a massive cloud of water above him, brought it down, and turned it into ice.

Dosu looked up, pulled out two large, thick scimitars and cut the icicles around him into nothing while clearing the last blast of water. He looked up and saw she was now surrounded by ice, and three pillars had ejected from the earth. She swept her hands forward and discs of ice shot from each pillar at him, at high speeds. He blocked the first three with his swords. She looked shocked. At that speed, it should have been easy.

"I told you. I am nothing like the people you have faced before."

He calmly blocked several more as she shot them in groups of three for several seconds, and then began blocking with some effort as she shot forth six at a time. His movements were quick and accurate, and each ice disc was obliterated as more came at him. Behind him, he heard the rising of water. She was trying to trap him.

"And so it begins," he though calmly. He let the blast hit him with full force and he flew at her, but landed several feet away. He slowly pulled himself up, and saw that she had created ice and pulled it around her hand in a blade form.

"That was easier than I thought it would be. Looks like I won this battle."

"But my girl, I won this battle five minutes ago. With this."

Dosu held up one of the knives and she looked confused.

"Hah, you think one little scratch can-", and then she hit the ground in a "plot", and the water around him, and her ice, hit the ground. He got up and brushed himself off.

"The first strike was the only strike I needed, girl. Almost all of my weapons are laced with some kind of poison. My knives are laced with many different kinds, but the one I hit you with causes complete and total paralysis after a certain period of time. The effects are instant, and aren't felt until the last second. It's a very useful tool, and, in my opinion, the art of poison is as complex and powerful as any bending art. I like to consider myself the exact opposite of a doctor, and I think it works perfectly."

She was still awake but couldn't move. She looked up, and saw the long, tall shadow of the man who had just defeated her. He stood above her and his shadow made a long mark upon the area around them. He had his hat over is head, and his face was shadowed in everyway but his mouth. He smiled.

"Another day, another thrill. It sucks that I had to use one of my more potent poisons though." he thought, as he picked her up and started moving. He had a long walk back to town.

Just so you guys don't get confused, I made him speedy and agile. He jumped about ten feet, but everyone in Avatar jumps that high, so I didn't figure it'd be a problem, but I can edit that if you want. He is also less weighed down because he only had his swords and knives. And a hat and typical clothing. When he has more equipment I promise to make him less agile.

That was a good post, Double09. It reminds me of what happened to Zuko in Ba Sing Se. You made it longer too.

I Can't beleive I have procrastinated my next post, but I am so blue about writing now...

I did a little searching and it turns out that Avatar RPG is actually the second longest subject.

yep it turns out that "ask a stupid quastion, Get a stupid answer!" has 7837 posts and 392 pages which means they have about 400 sum+ posts on us and their about to hit their 400th page

After a day of walking, they finally saw the walls of Ba Sing Se.

Giro: Let's stop by a liquin shop. I broke my string.

Katsumi: That's because you were over playing it. Right Genesis?

Genesis was reading a book and nodded.

Katsumi: See he agrees.

Genesis: Huh? Agree with what?

Giro started to laugh as he put his hand on Katsumi's head.

Giro: You ought to give up on pleasing this guy. He's not the loving type if you know what I mean.

Katsumi: I wasn't doing anything of the sort!

She grabbed his hand and twisted it. She made him walk with an immobilized arm.

Katsumi: Keep walking buddy and keep your trap shut!

Giro: OW! OW! Take it easy! It was just a joke!

She let go of him and he started to laugh. They kept on walking and ran into a dead end. Giro took a step forward and gave a nice thrust with his palms. A hole was made and they entered it. They kept on walking and Giro closed the hole. He kept on created a path until they came out. As soon as they got out, Giro closed the hole so no one could follow them.

Katsumi: I'm tired! Carry me!

Giro walked over to her and put her over his shoulder and started to walk.

Katsumi: NOT YOU!!!!

Giro laughed as she pounded on his back with her fists. They were within range of the gates and then an Earthbender popped out of the ground.

Soldier: Name and purpose!

Genesis: I'm Genesis and these are my friends. We came here to seek shelter and supplies.

The soldier inspected Genesis, Giro, and Katsumi.

Soldier: Alright. You're free to go. Just don't make any trouble alright?!?!?

Genesis: As you wish...

Soldier: OPEN THE GATES!!!

A part of the wall in front of them seperated and they walked in. As soon as they were in, the gates closed.

Giro: Let's stop by the liquin shop first.

Genesis: Okay...

They walked to the nearby shops and searched for a store that sold liquins. They were about to give up until they finally spotted one. Giro ran to the store and asked for a liquin.

Storekeeper: You are very lucky young man. This is my last one for a long time.

Giro: Sweet! Please, how much is it?

Storekeeper: One gold coin.

Giro felt around and searched every pocket. He put his hand into his left pocket on his pants and felt something round he pulled it out and slammed it onto the counter.

Giro: One gold peice!

The storekeeper crossed his arms and shook his head. Giro looked at the counter and removed his hands.

Giro: A BUTTON?!?!?!?!

Giro facepalmed himself, until someone walked up and handed him two gold coins. Giro turned around and Genesis was standing there.

Genesis: One liquin please and...keep the change.

The storekeeper happily handed the liquin over to Genesis and thanked him. He handed it over to Giro and he hugged it like there was no tomorrow.

Giro: Thanks! I'll pay you back after we get out next payment.

Genesis: Yeah...

They started to walk again and look for an inn, until they saw a shop that sold some clothes. Katusmi screamed as she ran into the shop. Giro walked over to a bench nearby and sat down as he was tuning his liquin.

Genesis: Sounds flat...

Giro: I know...New liquins always do...

Genesis took a seat on a bench and pulled out his book.

Genesis: Infinite in mystery is the gift of the goddess. We seek it thus and take to the sky. Ripples form on the water's surface. The wandering soul knows no rest...

Giro: Loveless, Act 1.

Genesis: You still remember?

Giro: How could I not? You pounded it into my brain...

He closed the book and Katsumi ran out with a bag and threw it onto Genesis.

Katsumi: Carry that for me, would you?

Genesis stood up and grabbed the bag. They started to walk again and went into a shop. Giro and Katsumi stood back and Genesis walked up to a door. A small hole slid open as a man peered through.

Man: Who knocks at the garden gate?

Genesis: One who has eaten the fruit and tasted its mysteries.

Katsumi: I'll never understand that...

Genesis: You don't have to...

The door opened and Genesis walked in. Katsumi was about to enter until the man slammed the door on her. He yelled and pounded on the door. The little hole opened again and this time, Genesis was looking through.

Genesis: Members only. I'll be out in a second...

He closed the hole and Katsumi pouted. Giro finally finished tuning his guitar. He started to strum it a bit to get the feel for it.

Giro: Much better...

The door opened and Genesis walked out.

Genesis: They'll let us stay in a room out back. They said it should be comfty for the time being. The inns here haven't been doing as great, so he said it was better to stay here.

Katsumi: What?!?!?!? We're sleeping on stacks of hay?!?!?!?

Giro: Quit whining. It's better than the cold hard ground.

Genesis: Let's go...

They walked out and walked to the room at the back of the shop. Genesis opened the door and walked in. Katsumi and Giro followed suit and looked around. It was decently furnished with a bed, a table, a few candles, and a sack of hay. Katsumi jumped onto the bed and layed down.

Katsumi: I call the bed!

Giro sat on the bale of hay and layed down.

Giro: I call the hay...

Katsumi: I think you should give it to the leader!

Genesis: I don't need to sleep...

He walked out and closed the door. Katsumi looked at Giro and he looked back.

Katsumi: What do you suppose he is up to?

Giro: Probably out reading that book in the sunlight...

r3173mpt10n i pretty much got the reference from the name Genesis since i played Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core but come on anybody(maybe except for you) that played the game got ticked off listening to Genesis ramble on from the stupid book loveless(Seriously i couldn't wait for him to stop talking so i could kick his @ss)

No offense or anything but ghaaaaa
