I'm sure most of you have been there; you are walking around somewhere, or watching TV, and a certain word reaches you. You immediately think of "Avatar" and check out what their really talking about. To your disappointment, it has nothing to do with "Avatar".

It could be the word "avatar', whether it's used religiously, or nerdishly, or it could be the most obscure thing; bison, earth, or arrow.

Think of an instance where you have an experience like that. If you can't think of one now, I'll try to keep this thread as far up as I can so you put something in when you do.

I actually have two examples from just today:

First, my dad was lecturing me a little bit, and he said "You have to move forward" Now, in my Avatard mind, I heard "If you keep moving forward, you will come to a better place" and thought of Iroh.

Second, I was at Target a little while ago, and I walked past the shoe section, and on the wall, I saw something that said "Hello twinkle toes!" And of course thought of Toph and Aang.

So, ja, I'm sure you guys have some things. Unless I'm nerdier than I thought. :B

That never really happens to me, unless I hear the word Avatar. Like that new James Cameron movie.

While following the news of the recent Chinese crackdown in Tibet, I couldn't help but think of the Fire Nation's extermination of the Air Nomads.

On a lighter note: Love the word "Avatard."

Yeah I started a thread like this one and Ramens posted in it! LOL It's called 'Avatarisms We Use In Everday Life'...but it's probably on page 368 of this forum so meh.

My favorite is when you see or hear something that caused you to spontaneous quote an episode and you just can't stop. Hehehe.

Faves at our house currently are as follows:

    "I have a natural curousity."

    "Yes, I juggled."

"I'm going to forget I saw that."

Yeah, learning when to shut up when talking to girls is a vital skill.

I was listening to the Quest For Camelotsoundtrack the other day. In one of the songs someone is called twinkletoes.

I know there have been a few more, but I can't think of them right now.

..I want to go it your school. Srsly, where do you live? I am so going to apply there, I don't even care that I graduated from high school.

But it's actually funnier when you're kind of alone in that. Well.. Sort of..

I remembered some anothers; whenever I see Chinese characters, and if they're on something purchaseable, I have to get them. Because to me Chinese characters=Avatarverse, not China or Asia at all.

Also, I was at the beach last weekend, and I saw a store called "Silver Lining" and thought of Zuko's little "silver sandwich" speech.

It's pretty lulzy for me; the Italians wished they were gansters, and whenever the other kids tried to act like "gangstas" I couldn't help but laugh.

Yeah, you're gangsta's, the same people who gush at the sight of puppies and exclaim loudly to our history teacher.

Gangstas these days, they're pathetic gangster wannabes. I mean, when a gangster pulled off a crime, it wasn't some 2-bit mugging, it was a proper bank robbery. What happened to the days where gangsters made offers people couldn't refuse? It used to be that gangsters had organised crime meetings, nowadays, gangstas just hang around on street corners looking for potential muggees.

*sigh* criminals just aren't what they used to be.

On-topic: My chemistry teacher wrote the chemical symbol for potassium hydroxide on the board. KOH. Yeah, obligatory 'bad for your face' pun ensued.
