Rejoice! It should be a great movie. It's got a director so it's good to go. I'm sure the movie will be after the series ends.

If the director says that he's found an actor, does that mean it has real people playing the parts? If so, I'm feelin kinda iffy about that.

Egads so sorry to disappoint but this is not about the DiMartino and Konietzko 'Avatar.'

    No, silly...
They probably mean voice actors for new characters.

Yeah it isn't. It has absolutly NOTHING to do with Avatar: The Last Airbender. It is about...

"In the future, Jake, a paraplegic war veteran, is
brought to another planet, Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na'vi, a
humanoid race with their own language and culture. Those from Earth
find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture."

Nah, are you kidding? If Nickelodeon would stop treating 'Avatar' like the red-headed stepchild of the Nick animation family they would do a full-length feature film like SpongeBob??or Rugrats and would see us turn out in droves and realize firsthand just how deep this fanbase stretches!

We would all LOVE a movie!
