It kind of hurts to say this, but I know it's correct. Avatar should just end after 60 eps. No doubt about it. No spinoffs, no extra seasons, just end it awesomely, and end it. |
Why would the creators of this show take such a good idea and limit it like this? They should have made the first season start out with Avatar Roku's Death then the war would follow suit. Then technically season 2 would be all about Aang and so on. It's such a great idea for a show but they limited it to 3 seasons? For shame.

It may just be me but I think the thought of a 4th season does make sence, Aang is supposed to bring order to the world, and even after he defeats the fire nation there will still be work for him to do. He is the last airbender and for the avatar legacy to continue after he is gone there need to be other airbenders to teach the new avatars airbending. There are a lot of power hungry people in the fire nation that will still be trying to rule the world who will need dealing with. They are just a couple of ideas but I think they get my point across. |

Yea, it hurts to say this but they should end at 60 Episodes.. if they don't they may keep making episodes just to please the fans but in reality the show will skyrocket but not in a positive way. I believe if they make extra episodes the show will become useless and no one will watch it. Therefore the final episode should be their best episode ever in the series.
If Avatar ended after only 3 seasons, don???t you think it would have the ???Invader Zim effect???? Meaning, loads and loads of upset people that refuse to drop it even 5 years after the show ended. There would be petitions, boycotts, and angry fans???pretty much what happened when IZ was cancelled. Maybe even more since this show has a lot more popularity. Of course, IZ was cancelled for a completely different reason, but??still. ??I personally see tons of ways they can expand the story line with out killing it. I???m not sure how many of you have heard of the comic and TV series W.i.t.c.h., but just look at how nicely it flowed from one plot to another! I believe that Avatar would do just fine.
