Avatar lost it's hype...
Was there any to begin with?
The last time Nick hyped Avatar was in that "Secret of the Fire Nation" special. I remember watching those comercials every comercial break and being all liek "FN haz nuke! FN haz nuke!"
I was wrong.
But still, that's the last time Avatar was hyped.

I don't know why the "FN haz nuke!" thing made me laugh so hard. Must macro that!
And I think, I think that they mean hype among the fans. I could be wrong though.

Exactly. Any Avatard will practically crap themselves at any mention of the word "Avatar" or anything that you can possibly connect to the show. Even the most obscure thing.
I know I'll be mentally fangasming everywhere I go. Mentally, mind you. Because it would be rather odd if you see a girl randomly gasm at seemingly nothing.

As far as it's place on Nick, I have to agree, Avatar has no hype. When has it ever? Even back whenever they started showing the third season and had 10 weeks of new episodes, it's like it almost got passed over. They showed each episode once, maybe twice, and that was it, period. When was the last time an Avatar episode was even shown on Nick? Honestly, it seems really weird to me.
As far the the Internet community, I don't know, I don't hang out here. But personally, yes, these long hiatuses are just killing my interest in the show. I still want to watch it, of course, but I used to be obsessed with it. Now it seems like the only thing I think when I think of Avatar is, "Meh." I mean, it's still two months until we get new episodes, it's been more than six months since the last batch, and there were months between the season 2 finale and that. How excited can I get about something I experience twice a year at best? Which drives me nuts because I want to love this show - and I do, when I see it. Unfortunately, with this schedule that translates to hardly ever.
