Answer the following questions and, if you want, why:

What holidays do you think Avatar has??

What ones do you think it should have??

What holidays should never ever show up in Avatar??

If a birthday counts as a holiday, who's would you want to celebrate??

Who's would you not want to celebrate??

    1) None because I feel holidays don't exist in Avatar and even if they did, it would ruin the image.

    2) None

    3) Everyone's! I respect everyone the same way.

    4) No one's. I want to celebrate them all!

If the nuns from Bato of the Water Tribe are Christian then they should have a party after they defeat the firelord and celebrate Christmas and Easter!

"Holidays" include the Fire Day Festival (from The Deserter) as well as Avatar/Kyoshi Day in the city of Chin/Kyoshi Island. I think that's all that's been mentioned so far.

I think it would be interesting to see what the customs are for celebrating birthdays in the Water Tribe, Fire Nation, with the Air Nomads and in the Earth Kingdom.

Someone I think has a thread going about??birthdays??and I would agree that??I think it would be cool to see how each is celebrated. The only thing??we have seen that comes close to this is Sokka's test of manhood??in successfully navigating a Water Tribe ship through rocky waters to prove himself.

It would also be neat to see how each nation celebrates what we celebrate as 'Christmas' or 'Hannukah.' Because the Avatar world acknowledge the solstices I would suspect that the 'Winter Solstice' might have some significant as a celebration for renewal and hope for the Sun to return in the midst of the long, dark winter.

Well right from the start there was the fire nation festival, Kyoshii Day and Avatar Day. And there was that shebang at the north pole but that was probably more of a celebration than a holiday. I do think it would be interesting to see more of the customs of the nations. I just remembered Aang mentioned in The northern air temple that they held a polo-thing contest and that might be a holiday. Also they are DEFINATELY going to have celebration after the fire nation is defeated. I hope they do a sweeping celebration showing every major location in Avater world celebrating like at the end of the special edition of?? Star Wars Return of the Jedi.
