Alright, now Foxhole7 is back from the Northern WT, but please allow me some time to think as I need to catch up on what has happened and think hard about the invasion. Libraman, the recent manufacturings that isabel's nation has done is legal in this game, right? Just want to be sure.

Legal, but matched weapon for weapon by the FN (I did make a legitimate post about that back when it was my turn).

Our technology and wealth are greater than yours.

*ducks behind shield in anticipation of response*

*Pulls out sword of response* I forgot to type in the bottom line in my last turn's post. I was gonna say that we have a land advantage, but not a naval advantage. The aerial battle is harder to judge.

I'm working on our response, it'll only be a few more minutes.

not really. The best you can do for airships is those cloth ones originally designed by the mechanist. I have metal ones that are bigger than yours with cannons and bombs

I actually agree with you. I just think that it's funny that the earth Kingdom should be the second most powerful nation at the moment, and yet people think the two beneath it have a better chance of winning. Why's that, I wonder?

The fire Nation Invades the Eastern Earth Kingdom with a massive army of 8000 soldiers, invested in the Navy.

Because the Fire Nation Had 8000 men, the Earth Kingdom had only 1500 in their blocade (as perscribed by Isabel), and the Fire nation has massive metal Warships and the Earth Kingdom only has wooden Sailing ships, I think it's pretty obvious how that battle turns out.

With the Beaches open, the fire nation lands four groups of two thousand men, who are able to use their massive numerical advantage (according to Isabel each Watchtower would only have had a few hundred men) to crush the opposition. The Air Force plays a huge part in the attack, with superior fire nation Airships wiping out both Earth Kingdom Balloons, and bombing the tanks on the ground.

The Navy takes control of the River Systems. By employing the same Ground-Waters-Skies mastery that was employed in FN defense, they ensure that any attack on the FNs new holdings will be met with all 8000 soldiers, all of whom are now veterans of combat.

Back in the Fire Nation, The Sun Warrior Legion and it's Dragon Unit takes over most defense. With Their 2000 strong numbers and flight patrols, they ensure that any part of the FN can still summon 2000 soldiers at will.

The new territories in the EK are stripped of everything and anything valuable. The massive wealth accumulated is sent back to the FN, and is used to double the Military Fund. As a result, recruiting and training efforts are doubled, with new soldiers enlisting every day (AKA our soldiers will increase).

War Balloons establish a new patrol path, that includes the new captured territory.

Phoenix Queen Azula delivers an ultimatum. If the Fire Nation itself is attacked, she will burn every captured EK city under FN control to the ground, although people may feel free to attampt to dislodge her from the EK itself.

The FN sets up a vast varriety of technological defences in it's new territories:

    Rivers are blocked off.

Okay, before i take my turn, but let's get some things straight first. Axrendale when declaring your turn, did you remember:

    1. My blockade isn't totally worthless (it's been specified in the tv show that EK ships can still put up a fight).

    2. Did your men destroy the pillboxes. There were quite a few of them.

    3. We have warships too. They are not as good as yours, but they are better than war balloons. Did you keep that in mind?

    4. How did you get so much wealth from a small part of the EK. If that is true, the EK must be richer than you thought?

Just wanted you to be aware of all this. Libraman, did you consider all of this?

I'm not going to request that you ignore what he says, but from now one, when it's the Air Nomads turn, Let me handle it.

Also, I didn't remember appointing Avataraang. Libraman, did you do that?

As far as I'm concerned, I'm not getting enough recruits. Also, I don't understand why on the roster Avataraang is in two postitions.

Avatar Aang, for now, until I decide your worth, I'm going to make you the Monk of the western air temple.

Also from now on, let me know of any activities going on with the war. Libraman, I have a proposition:

Every time we have an "Avatar" cycle, you need to send a pm message to all the leaders with an update, so we can plan our next move. That's the next step in organizing the game.

As for the Air Nomads, everything we do is...

STRICTLY DEFENSIVE. NO OFFENSIVE MANEUVERS POLITICALLY OR PHYSICALLY.

Until further notice, that is the way it will be.

I don't want the following from my representatives:
    Dorky Air Dome shield techniques,

Super wind blasts across the fire nation.

weapon "designs" that aren't specified (weapon type wise)

I don't think we need weapons plans for spears and swords.

he was the only one posting, so....besides, wind chief, keep him there, he got your guys allyship with the Water Tribe and Earth Kingdom. as for new recruits, ask people!!!!

Alright, I guess I will ally with the earth kingdom. But I hadn't made up my mind.

1: I outnumbered you 8000 to 1500 (men). And my ships are better. There was no way you stood a chance.

2: Yes. Each battalion massed against each one in it's area one by one. Again, the numbers (2000 men against only a few hundred at best in each case) carry the day.

3: War Balloons are better than War Ships, because ships cannot hit balloons without great difficulty. In any case, I outnumbered you in both, and i had better ships and balloons.

4: You would be surprised how much money you can make out of even a poor country when you properly loot it. As well as money, there is also any item that can be contrived to have value, food and metal supplies, weapons, and most importantly, slaves. In wars, fortunes can be made by people who play the slave market right. I can come up with a couple of historical examples to support this, if you want.

Bases and pillboxes are constructed along either end of the river (upriver, where axrendale does not control) to defend against the next attack. There are 4 of them, 2 along each side of the river, spaced about 100 miles apart. The watchtowers farther east and west of the river remain in service to alert of attacks in these remote areas. The earthbenders trained by Toph (metalbenders) are summoned to the bases to hold off tanks. Note that these earthbenders can create shields of rock (ep. 3-10) to stop aerial bombs. We will also fortify our rivers by carving stalagmites (the ones that stick up from the ground) into the bed of the rivers via earthbending and stink & sink bombs, making the river impassable by even metal ships. The surviving ships from the 1st attack retreat upriver (this happened before the FN forces land) to protect the large bay in the middle of the country. Additional ships are constructed to bolster this venue. Last, a warship & balloon blockade takes flight, 100 miles away from and parallel to the captured territory to keep additional watch on the battle front. Increased communication in the EK and increased travel assure that an ample army will meet the next attack. In the meantime, factories (including the huge one in basingse) continue to work but slow down in order to start work on something else. You'll find out what it is later. Does my 2nd in command have anything additional to add?

EDIT: And to add to number 4, I am now mercilessly taxing the people of the cities I have conquered. Yep, life is pretty rough for the EK people in the colonies. Needless to say, the Fire nation people live like Kings. All is well (for me and my people). The people of the fire nation don't mind any of this. It's because of this that their taxes have been reduced to almost nothing. And they trust me to do the right thing

Not to sound lazy, but could you provide a map to go with that? And we're also going to need some numbers from you. You only have a certain amount of troops. How many are invested where?

Actually, the balloons are pretty much identical, except for color (green vs. red) to avoid confusion. You're right about the warships though. I know about the "slave market", but you can't do this right now because Azula is holding all of these people hostage in their villages, threatening to incinerate them all. But not slaves.

Not to sound lazy, but could you provide a map to go with that? And we're also going to need some numbers from you. You only have a certain amount of troops. How many are invested where?

I understand, I'm gonna get paint right now and do that. Which do you want first, the map or the numbers?

Oh, one more thing. Exactly how many people did each of us lose? Ax lost 5,000 right. He should have 10,000 left, 8,000 in captured territory and 2,000 in the homeland, right?

I'll be right back, guys. I'm gonna get paint.

read the first page to find out how much they have, and look back to one of my war update posts (they're on the twenty-seventh page, i think...) to find out how many they lost.

Actually, the balloons are pretty much identical, except for color (green vs. red) to avoid confusion. You're right about the warships though. I know about the "slave market", but you can't do this right now because Azula is holding all of these people hostage in their villages, threatening to incinerate them all. But not slaves.

Actually, although I have been forced to conced that the Earth Kingdom is capable of building large metal Airships, the Fire Nation has at this point (or will, in the future) advanced to absolutely massive Airships with Gigantic gold dragons on the front, like the one Ozai had in the finale. We also have cannons and bombs, and the Earth Kingdom cannot match those (exploding things is our department).

On the subject of the slaves, the prisoners who were taken to be sold as slaves were the Earthbenders, as well as most of the non-benders who looked capable of putting up serious resistance. Everyone else remains in a state of hostage.

If you like, you could buy back most of you rown men from us. We're willing to do ransom. But it won't be cheap.

That was the situatiion, until one of my commanders ran a large promotional program that attracted a whole bunch of new men. Also, I used the money I made off your territory to pay for the training. Between those two things, I managed to replace most of my losses.
