    I've just done the maths.

Approximately 5% of all houses with a television in the United States had the finale on.
That a whole lot of mothaf*cking people
Well I think I've done the maths wrong, it's probably 3%.

    But still, 3%. That's a lot.

Is that a big number for tv viewers!? I really dont know!

    Really good for avatar anyway

there are probably a lot more than 19 million considering those who watched it on youtube and other places. i personally missed the finale air on nick because of some things that came up but i watched it on avatarportal

also you have to factor in the people that dont have cable tv. Satellite is never included in these cause you cant really tell whos watching, also the people that recorded it on their VHS, DVD, or DVR arent included either!

19 million viewers! That is awesome for a TV show! Avatar is amazing with all the viewers it can pull in!

Though, I wonder what the other 300 million people who are living in the US were doing that Saturday.

WOW. That's alot for Avatar. I really hope that it comes back even bigger and better. It would be nice if more people got into the show as it is right now and when the movies come out it beats Dark Knight's weekend total.

That's awesome! Well, I guess shows with plot are actually appealing to kids, huh Nick (sorry, just had to add that)? I suppose it was the finale, so even more casual fans tuned in.

dont forget people had parties so with a group of avatar watchers which could have cut the total down. It probably could have been higher

And remember when we say 19 million that refers to the whole week, not just the finale. The finale got 5.6 million. (which is still a helluvalot)

    *doubletakes* *faints*

OH WOW! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! THIS IS AMAZING!

Maybe, one day, Nick will give Avatarthe respect it deserves. I officially stopped watching Nickelodeon all together, all because Avatar ended. And yea..with a heck of a bAang.

If you have Nicktoons Network - watch that! All three seasons are now airing on it, and will probably continue to do so for some time.

Nick stripped avatar of the amount of viewers it COULD have had, imagine if they had been showing reruns all year... But the story actually has a plot "OH NOES, something that has a point couldn't appeal to people" I wish I could swear on this board lol... cause nick ....ing blows

yeah avatar could have sustained its gigantic fanbase if it wasnt for the hiatus.
