Avatar dumb?

    My best friend informed me that she thinks that Avatar is dumb. how could she think a thing like that? How can??I convince her that she is wrong?

    Ask her to give you a decent answer because most people who say Avatar is dumb don't have one. Their excuses are it's a kid show (so? full grown adults watch it and love it), it's a wannabe anime (Avatar wasn't even intended to be an anime and furthermore it's not), or some lame excuse like that. I doubt she'll be able to give you a decent one.

    My best friend thinks the same thing. Its their opinion, if they don't like Avatar, just leave them alone...Although I'm stiil hoping my friend sees otherwise.

    I used to think it was dumb *ducks* HEY LET ME FINISH!!!!!!! Until I actually stopped being such a narcisist and actually TRIED watching it for once. I watched from the first epi to like, the 6th one one sunday when they were having a marathon and fell in love with it.

    So if people say it sucks and they've never even bothered watching it, tell them to shove off or try it before they knock it.

    i used 2 be the same way i hated the show and thought it was annoying and i used 2 pick on my younger sister 4 watching it. but then i sat down and really watched and i??loved it from that day on! its so awesomely cool!??

    I'll admit, I didn't like Avatar AT FIRST because I thought, 'Oh no, Nick has really gone down if they show anime now!' But when I saw 'The King of Omashu', I instantly loved the show! And found out it wasn't anime!
    Wait... was it really that one? Maybe it was that one with Haru... well, and early episode of the first season at least. I don't remember right now.

    But the point is, people have their own opinions because people base everything they see on appearance first and anything else second. It's simply a terrible flaw we Humans have. If your friend doesn't like the show, don't provoke her. However, she'll probably get curious and watch an episode to see why you like it. If she still doesn't bite, don't bother. Patience is hard to learn and acceptance is even harder.
