I'm sure a great number of you guys have been counting the days until you can get the entire 1st season on DVD. For those of you who've got the set:
    • how's it different from the single disc releases?
    • was Nick cheap and just put the previous;y released boxes together in one giant box?
    • what's on the bonus disc

They are the same discs as they were in the individual volumes, but they are put into one package, not the individual packages in one box. On the sixth disc, there is a short with interviews (a bit disappointing), the original pilot with commentary, a feature on the sound design, and a feature on the Korean animation studio where the show is animated.

I guess that settles the question of me buying Book 2 discs individually instead of waiting for another box set.

personally I'm happy to hear that the box set is like all the previous volumes stacked together with an extra disc so that for hardcore fans who want to know every tidbit of info they don't have to buy every individual volume plus the box set. all they have to is buy the box set and they're done with avatar DVD purchases. and when I'm talking about other people I'm really talking about me. ???? ?????? ??

I prefer the box set over the individual disk. The hole set is just much more easy to manage then five separate cases. Plus the cover art is awesome and you get some bonuses.

Since they're the same as the individual DVDs, I would imagine English, French, and Spanish.

I bought the box set yesterday.?? Thanks to a gift card I had, it only cost me $20.?? Only two things disappointed me: the extra features disc and the interior of the packaging.?? The extra features disc didn't have much on it and was pretty much a waste of a DVD.?? As for the interior packaging, it has those stupid overlapping disc trays.?? I hate those.?? I don't like having my discs lay directly on top of each other like that.?? I guess it could have been worse though, could have been double sided discs in overlapping disc trays (like the Tremors movie set that came out last year).

Explain the specail features in more depth, please! Also, by "overlapping disc trays" do you mean like those two disc movie sets where the actual movie is on one side of the box and a special features disc is on this "flap" thing attached to the inside of the box? Or do you mean like the "Friends" boxed sets except the discs overlap each other?

And if that doesn't help answer my quesiton, then post a pic of the inside of the boxed set .

So the special features weren't that special?

I don't know if I'm not going to get it, it would just annoy me to no end if I didn't get the box, mostly 'cause of the special features, even if it isn't special. My mom will probably get it for me, anyways.
