Now with our favorite series over (not counting mini-episodes, live-action movies, etc.), I think it would be an appropriate time to start remembering some of our favorite episodes by means of a contest. My idea is to have a poll up everyday with 5 episodes that would be left there for a day. Then, which ever episode has the highest amount of votes would move on to the next round, which would be a round of twelve (60 episodes, if you put SC Pt 3 and 4 together, five episodes per poll, makes 12 winners). In the round of twelve, we would have three episodes per poll, producing 4 winners. Then in the semi-finals, we'd have two vs. two, and then the finals. Our first poll will start today at 3PM EST, and end at 10 PM EST tomorrow, and the new poll will then start, and it will end at the same time. so it should take 19 days.
The actual thread can serve as an argument ground and/or reaction place and/or complaint area.
There is a Worst Episode thread identical to this one.

Well, I voted myself, and I chose Southern Air Temple. I remember watching the seires three years ago, and this one got me hooked. The first two episodes were good, but just a tad too light-hearted than I would've preferred(but they were still wonderful episodes). I loved the Zuko-Zhao Agni-Kai,still wone of my favorite fights in the series. I also liked the (brief) look at Aang's life before the iceberg with Monk Gyatso. The tone of this episode was darker than the first two episodes. Plus, who didn't like Uncle Iroh in this episode:

Zuko(after the Agni-Kai): Did you really mean what you said back there, Uncle?
Uncle: Yes, that tea was delicious. (Not exact quote)

This is a pretty cool idea I'm voting for The Avatar Returns cuase it had the first cool action scene in it and we find out Aang's the avatar

Voted for omashu. The fight between Bumi and Aang at the end was the first good fight I remember, plus the challenges were inventive, the twist was cool (if expected) and there were some humorous bits. An overall solid episode.

The Southern Air Temple!
Aside from being the epsiode where the series really took off, 103 was the episode featuring the Zuko/Zhao Agni Kai, one of the best fight sequences in the series!
