    As Aang is the last Airbender, the chain of Avatar's will continue with water, earth, and fire, before getting back to the air nomads.?? If Aang truly is the last airbender, then the final Avatar will be a fire bender, and the reincarnations will cease.

    Based on this, what is your opinion on whether or not the Avatar cycle will stop?

    I think Aang isn't the last Airbender, see Ty Lee: part air nomad, or A theory based on something said at comic con. Btw, this people are gonna say is for ask a question. Nice to see another speculator.

    Ty Lee could very well have some Airbender in her blood...but I'm thinking Aang is the last Airbender right NOW...but what about Aang's children? at some point down the line some decendent of Aang will probably be the next Avatar...and i'm not even going the Aang and Katara's child route...that's a whole other thread

    That's for sure!!! I think that there are still some people with airbending blood, and if they see Ang airbanding, and they have the spirit, there could be more airbenders.

    Plenty of airbender blood around. Ba Sing Se, tons of regugees, hiding in plain sight. That, and the fire nation, where you wouldn't expect it. Hard to believe the fire nation wiped out everyone.

    XP I agree. Aang's descendants should be airbenders. Quote from the animanga 'All airnomads are airbenders'. Whether or not this holds true for part airnomads... well, we'll just have to see, will we not?

    That's a good point abotu refugees. But after 100 years, all that would be left would be a little air blood.

    If aang has alot of children and they have alot of children then airbenders will be re-populated and I dont think the airbender cycle will be broken
