Aren't they too young to have a romantic kiss?

Oh, and Aang was supposed to be a virgin and all, with his monk garb, but I guess he broke that rule.

    thats what i was thinking!
In another thread i said something along the lines of Aang probably not supposed to be marrying if he was to follow what the Monks said. The genders were separated in Air Nomads world were they not? I gather they got together to have kids then split up again.

I'd say it's more like the whole of Asia than JUST China. I mean Jeong Jeong sounds Korean to me.

Yeah, and Suki's village and customs seem more Japanese, and her name can mean "flawed technique" in Japanese, so some Japanese elements are there as well.

Suki in Japanese is "to like"

If I knew Japanese I'd make some sort of contribution. I feel so left out!

That kiss had an interesting effect on my family... as usual, my Mom did not walk in and watch the show with us when we were at the action scenes... she found time to join us right at the end, when a 12-year-old and 14-year-old share the kiss.

She was going "Eww! They're too young! How could they do that? Eww!" for HOURS! Lol. Why do the parents always walk in on inopportune moments? If it's not a romance scene, it's a Spongebob musical... never the action scene, or funny Spongebob episode.

Finally around 10 o'clock she stopped and said "I know why they kissed... back in those times, people usually died early (around 30 or so) so that's why they developed these relationships so young." And content that she finally found the answer to life's question and she had embaressed her children enough, she let up and went to sleep.

And there you have it... how the Avatar Series Finale impacted my mother.

As I said in another thread, come on, it's just a kiss! Why is everyone acting all perverted about it? They're both mature beyond their years and are obviously in love, so what's wrong with it?
