*sigh of relief* It's good to finally have a date for the return of the show. ~2 1/2 months until July 14 (excluding DVD 3 on May 6th). I think we'll be able to wait this one out!

But as another poster said... WILL we be able to take the epicness once the show starts again?

I know, I should be happy, but I'm going on a trip for 2 weeks smack in the middle of July. Turns out, I'm leaving around that time, the 15th.
I'm gonna miss the finale!!
I wish I can somehow move my trip back, but my mom had to sign me up for a camp that certain week, so I can't. I would celebrate my birthday in South America, anything! UGH!! NOOOO!!!

....maybe, I'll find a way...

*pokes blog* I'm desperate for anything. If breaking a leg could somehow leave me in the hospital for a short moment, I'd gain sympathy from my parents, and I wouldn't have to go anywhere- then, the finale date is free. It's the perfect plan!

Does anyone know when the actual finale will air/most probable scenerio? I'm guessing the 25th, however, I'm afraid- what if it's on the 19th and I'm not home?

I could try to record it, but it's the fact that it's the final episode ever in the whole series and it's special to see it at the very moment it airs, you know?

I know I should be excited but this is not the epic treatment the finale deserves. What's the logic behind the additional wait? I don't this makes up for or gives any reason for the wait we've already endured.
Releasing the DVD before the episodes air. That's messed up. People already bought the whole season on itunes and they won't get it until after it airs.
Still angry about this and skeptical that there's some more bad news coming. Someone else mentioned that the journey concludes in July does not necessarily mean the finale will take place before August 1. The phrase suggest the last episodes start coming out in July.
I don't know. I'm going to have to see it before I can believe it. It's a shame its gotten to this point, where they finally give some information and you still can't be sure.

God if they promo that week enough...it will most likely bring in astronomical ratings.
And I'm with Wise on this one...I don't think they will air the four episodes from the May 6th DVD. But I could be wrong. It won't be the first time or the last.

It depends on if they're going to air a full week or do only Mondays. If they air a full week, then they wouldn't have enough episodes if they only showed SR, EIP, and the finale. Unless they decide not to do the finale in a two hour time frame and split it up into two half hour epis and an hour finale. Hey, it's Nick, who brought us 10, I mean, 9 straight weeks of Avatar.
Or, if they do SR on the 14, EIP on the 21st, and the finale on the 28th. But it seems like they'd give more time between the actual airing of the finale and the release of the DVD.
My dream schedule, as someone else thought up (sorry, forgot who, I'm not trying to steal anyone's thunder) is:
WAT MON
FBM TUS
BRS 1/2 WED
SR THUR
EIP FRI
Finale SAT
