I am starting this thread because I have heard many complaints about various episodes of Avatar. So here is how it is going to work. Below you will find some questions. Pick an episode (Good or Bad) and try to answer the questions below. I have started it off with my analyzation of Appa's Lost Days. The reason why I chose this episode is because a lot of posts have been against the episode.

Who is the antagonist (Enemy) of the episode?
Sand Benders, Circus guy, and finally Azula
Who is the protagonist (Hero) of the episode?
Appa, and the Guru
What moral (Lesson) did I get from the episode?
I learned that even though you can go through a rough time that so long you keep trying you can succeed.
Do I see the deep meaning behind the moral?
The meaning was that Appa still tried hard to get back to Aang and the place where he was familiar. So to me it is bluntly saying to never give up hope.
What progress did I get from the episode that contributes to the story as a whole?
It displayed Appa as a living being that thinks and cares.
