    Avatar returning in July this year. Apparently the DVD is still shipping May 6th I believe? Go out and buy it!

    What, that just doesnt make any sense. Releasing the DVD's befor it even airs on tv, thats messed up. I just dont get it, either the DVD's will be pushed back, or NICk is f***** up in the head.

    Ok, then the theory: "DVD sales will be better than ratings" theory was right, now we all just have to buy the dvds instead, No "waiting 1 day to watch it on youtube instead" guys

    so if it is in july:

    july 4: 312 (or nothing)

    july 11: 313 (or 312)

    july 18: BR (or 313

    july 25: well this has got to be the rest of book 3 or nickeldoeon is bullsh**ing us.

    they cant fit all those episodes in july so they better think of something smart, or tomatoes will be thrown

    it it does begin in july, then i expect a commercial in may. chasing zoey got on 2 months before, why not avatar?

    atlantis squarepantis got annouced in the summer with a commercial. and it aired in november

    Guy, again, they're doing this because the fanbase is made mainly of people who don't watch it on tv, so trying to have the cash by ratings won't work, but by DVD sales might work.

    EVERY avatard is more than likely going to buy the dvd, after 4 months without anything, owning a disc that will allow you to watch 2 [or 4 for some] new episodes anytime you want is a good idea.

    So yeah, everyone buy the DVDs and well, Nick will know if this little plan will work or not.

    I remember the thread discussing the theory of Avatar being sent directly to the DVD's... I didn't believe in it. I was going to stand by Avatar and watch it on the Television like it's supposed to be. Now I don't know what to think.


    About what Piccaboomman said... This stuff is so wacked up. It can ALL be traced to when Nickelodeon decided to air HALF the season in TEN WEEKS ("10 straight weeks of Avatar). Isn't it obvious? They had originally planned on the final half of season 3 airing in the summer; to go along with the season of the show. But that would have drawing it out over a few months like the past season did. Finishing HALF the season before the original planned air dates threw them off and they didn't (and still don't) know how to fix the dilemma they have created.

    It's still supposed to ship May 6th. They could decide to change the release date if they want, but they haven't as of yet.
