Dude you don't have to get everything from online. I read it in the paper then saw something about it on some special. But anyway if you look around you probably be able to find it in a second on google or somethin.

The government has abducted anyone with "special abilities". Or was that aliens? Oh well... either way you wont find one here.

But serously, it's cool if you believe that using the other 90% of un-used brain space will lead to bending powers, but humans haven't evolved that far. But this isn't the place for discussing these things. This is Avatar, home of Kataang shippers and Toph haters.

Huh, you guys will say about anything to have that nice little send-off line.

The misconception was that humans only use 5-10% of the brains, thus we have lots of untapped potential.?? This was disproven as a misunderstanding of the facts.?? Different parts of the brain serve different functions.?? The actual fact is that we use 10% of our brains at any given time.?? More is being used when we sleep, though.

I don't have to do a study of aerokinesis I already know that is is a specialization of telekineses.?? A firebender would be a pyrokinetic; an earthbender is a terrakinetic; a waterbender is a hydrokinetic.?? There could also be a magnetokinetic to control magnetism, electrokinetic to control electricity, or luminkinetic to control light.?? Assuming this were a true ability, it wouldn't be something that anyone could teach you.?? They might be able to teach you the techniques they have had to learn to control their powers if they hadn't been killed by them or accidently killed someone with them.?? And if someone did exhibit these powers, they probably would keep them hidden since mankind is not ready for a superhero.?? If Superman were to appear today, we would hail him as a great hero until he makes a mistake.?? Then we would tear him apart and praise his downfall because we can't stand anyone being better than us.

The closest thing there is to benders are the martial arts that use chi or our internal energy.?? Though, even those require intense focus and preparation.?? I recall seeing a grainy video a while back of an old master that simple took a stand and held an arm straight out in a punch.?? By the time they were done, they had five or six men larger than him trying to push his hand back and couldn't.?? There was a documentary I saw once that had traditions like that, and you watch things being done before your eyes that defy logic.?? A warrior leaning onto a spear point, and you can see the shaft bend without piercing his skin.?? And then they show the same spear drawing blood if you tap your finger against the tip.

Eeerm...?? O_o?? That's a combination of luck and really good special effects.?? But, seriously, any sort of Bending has yet to be discovered by humans, and therefore isn't real, and isn't likely to ever be real.?? The whole aerokenesis thing was inspired by Avatar.?? Do the math.?? People see show where people "Bend".?? That is Avatar.?? Some of these people are attention-hungry and a little crazy.?? These crazy people write editorials about --kenesis, and make videos of it "happening" by using special effects, and, ta-da!!!, it's all over the media and thousands of gullible people believe it and spread the word.?? Really, if Bending was real, I'd have used it to take over the world a long time ago...?? .

Ok I'm not gonna touch on all that other stuff but I'll say this much, yeah uh, Avatar did not invent not inspire aerokenesis. There have been plenty of fictional characters long before Avatar even came on who??have done??the same crap. Easiest example, that blonde girl from Captain Planet or whatever (yeah like I know here name). At least I think she was blonde. ...Yeah.

Terra from Teen Titans came along before Avatar, didn't she? Anyway she can control earth. That, my friends, is why she is named T-E-R-R-A.??

Yea, Terra made her debut a year before the first episode of Avatar. I just checked. It was sometime in January of 2004.

No see I mean??I find it??unneccessary to do all that. I mean if we wanted to, we could name off over 500,000 (probably more combined) fictional characters (comics, movies, animated shows whatever) who have displayed elemental based abilities. I was simply disproving the John statement about aerokenesis,??it??doesn't really needed to be added to. But??hey yeah if you??want??you could??start a thread about it or somethin. Assuming of course one??hasn't already been done.????

Meh, its as much as a word as pyrokenesis. And I think everyone's pretty much figured out that last one at some point.

I just went to that link.?? Two words: very cheesy.?? This guy didn't even know how to spell about every other word correctly.?? I shall prove any type of kenesis doesn't work.?? The guy says everybody is supposed to be able to do it, I tried to make a "chi ball" or whatever the heck it was, and nothing happened.?? There, I just proved once and for all, Bending does not exist outside of Avatar!!!!?? But it would rock if it did.

The people from Captain Planet were Earth-Kwami, Fire-Wheeler, Wind-Linka, Water-Gi, and Heart-Mati.?? Yes, Linka was a blonde.??

Aerokinesis is real just as much as any other extra sensory power.?? There are legitimate institutes that study and develop mental powers.?? Control to the level of what is seen is Avatar isn't possible right now, but it might be possible later.?? We wouldn't hear about anything because the scientific community wouldn't want to undermine their own authority by admitting some freak occurrence were unexplainable.?? Or they might figure something out for cause of death if there is a localized fatality.

Bending is not possible.?? Various types of kinesis is debatable depending upon one's beliefs.?? Some believe there's no such thing as mental powers; some believe that there are and will grow stronger over the course of history.

Humans would have to evolve into bending or something if it would ever happen??
But Terra was my favorite character ever and I never knew that her name meant "Earth". At first when I watched "The Drill" I thought General Whats His Face said that they were the Terror Team, not the Terra Team. I've been hittin' the catcus juice...
If we really did bend, it would take many years to evolve into something like that. Its like we develop a sixth sense or something. Well, maybe a seventh sense since some people think they can talk to ghosts
