    Hello,

If this annoys ppl that i'm not putting this in "ask a question get an answer" then sorry. I hate looking through 900 posts trying to find an answer so hopefully I can just get one fast. Lol.

I was recently reading something saying that you recieve those arrows when you are a master. In the episode The Storm, Aang is seen talking with his friends without his arrows. Gyatso then calls him and in the very next scene he has his tatoo's on. Does anyone think this is a mistake or did they put his tatoo's on in that meeting right before we started seeing it?

Let me guess, you watched it on youtube, right?
It's just the video quality. There's a big glare on it and if you watch it on a good TV, you can tell that he really does have the arrow on his head the whole time. He has it because he indeed was a master at that young age. That's why he was able to invent the air scooter.

Also, you really should post this on Ask a Question, Get an Answer II. Seriously, it's worth the little search versus getting insulted by the dedicated forumers

Actually, I am certain no one will mind if you go to the Ask and Get Thread and ask a question without searching for an answer, because that's really what it's there for.

Where do the arrows start? The one on his head seems to originate from somewhere beneath his mawashi. Basically, it must have a focal point somewhere - so not only was Aang underage when he got drunk, wandered into a tat parlour and whipped off his clothes, but the artist was a dirty old bugger.

Seriously though.. do we know why they are actually arrows?

    *sigh*

The flying bison were the first Airbenders, so to honor them the Air Nomads put markings on master Airbenders. The arrow originates from the back and goes up over the head. It also goes left and right to the hands. It also goes to the lower back then splits and continues along the side of the body until it reaches the feet. That's all.

*is wondering why the "Ask a Question, Get an Answer" thread is even there if no one uses it*

Here's what ya do. Post a question in there, bookmark the page it was on (in case there are a lot of newer posts since your last visit) and check for answers to your question. Someone will probably be kind enough to give you an answer if you ask in that thread rather than *sigh* once again adding to our endless pages of threads by creating a new one.
