Aang never let katara go!!!

    on nick.com if u go 2 the crossroads of desitny episode and click "gear n more" it has info on aang and the avatar state and that part??when he was up in space??wit that giant version of himself. heres wat it says(pay attention 2 the last sentence):

    "This colossal figure represents Aang's mastery of the Avatar State. Aang encounters this giant version of himself in space during his meditation on the seventh chakra (pure cosmic energy.) The first time he meditates, (in 2.19) Aang has a vision of Katara in trouble and has to abandon his celestial twin. The second time he meditates, (in 2.20) Aang is interrupted when Azula shoots him with lightning. In both cases, Aang is unable to clear the chakra and master the Avatar State."

    that means he never even let her go at all he still loves her! aint that crazy? so i guess kataang still has a chance

    this has been discussed many times and sum1 will prolly direct you to that stupid relationship thread with 9600 posts in it, but if u look at the chakra more closely, perhaps attachment is not even close to love.

    Aang was instructed to "let his attachment flow down the river" or something like that, I think that means he needs to stop being attached to her, and if she's in danger the world comes first. It's not about love, or caring, it's about attachment and he needs to let the attachment go away, such that if Katara died he wouldn't be stopped from fulfilling his duties.
