All Aang ever learned from Toph was how to move a rock and he officially become an Earthbending master, I don't get that. I think it would take more than moving a rock to become an Earthbending master, heck Aang hasn't fully mastered Waterbending.

It doesn't explicitly show it durring the episodes but Aang practices his water and earth bending everyday. It isn't nessessary to show him practicing in every single episode, we can just accept that he does.

when he moved the rock toph said NOTHING about him being a master... she said "you did it your an earthbender" she never said he was a master at all..... in fact there has never been an announcement that aang has??FULLY mastered earthbending has there?

but apperently aang has been practicing his earthbending...??he made that zoo in about 16 secconds...??

    This shouldn't be here

    http://www.tv.com/avatar-the-last-airbender/show/28841/spoilers-and-speculations/topic/13281-235141/msgs.html?tag=board_topics;title;4

or if it's more of a question http://www.tv.com/avatar-the-last-airbender/show/28841/spoilers-and-speculations/topic/13281-235141/msgs.html?tag=board_topics;title;4

    But to answer your question:
They never said he was a master earthbending also they have most likely practised between the eppies... (toph and aang)
The one episode when aang learns to earthbend is probably made to give a bit more info about the elements (there opposites etc) and to show how aang struggled at first but mastered it at the end that's just nice to see makes good television...
And the reason for aang not being a waterbending master is more duo to the fact that he's in an enviroment with more rock than water to bend, so ofcourse he bends the element which is more around him.... I would have done the same thing won't you???.

You want to know what I find annoying, people constantly popping into threads telling someone "this belongs in this thread, or this belongs in that thread" Yeah, I'm starting to find that real annoying about this particular message board, and I'm not just talking about you mister001. A lot of you need to stop pretending you're forum moderator because it's really starting to annoy people. Just post your responses and let the moderators do their own jobs. How about that?

Well it's a bit hard for the forum moderators to check every forum on this website there are just to many.
And if no-one will say something about it they just keep on making topics about it even though it has been answered/discussed/asked like 20 times before....

there wouldn't be people telling other people to put their posts in another place or if it was a repeat thread if they just read and FOLLOWED the rules in the first place

The moderator is a busy guy, and he's just one person. When somebody truly makes a useful forum, nobody pops in and tells them to post it somewhere else. However, this thread is not anything particularly interesting or unique, so putting it in the Ask a Question Get an Answer thread would do it some good.

My point is you guys aren't forum moderators.?? It's not your place to dictate whether or not people should or shouldn't make threads on a particular topic, I don't care how busy the actual moderator is.?? A lot of the time I open a thread, the very next post after the thread starter is some random fool going "this should have been posted in this thread," and I'm sitting here wondering, "why does that belong in that thread."?? If every topic everyone makes ends up in the four or five stickied threads, this is going to be a very boring forum.?? Besides, I don't see how anyone can keep track of what the heck is going on in the "Ask a Question" thread.

but it's also not your place to criticize us for trying to keep the forum in order. just because we're not official doesn't mean we can't help out and direct people where they're supposed to go. if you don't like it, tough??

A forum was made the other day: it proved how long the lapse was between Chapters 18 and 19, because everyone has been asking how long for a very, VERY long time, and that has been constantly used as ammo for Katara-haters.

It was solid proof: the phases of the moon in Chapters 18 and 19 were completely obvious once you took notice.

It was important, and it did not fit the description of anything pinned. It was a useful forum.

Would you like to know how long it lasted in the first twenty-five posts? Less than ONE DAY.

Useless threads clogging up our board are detracting attention from the USEFUL threads and that is exactly why people do not like pointless threads: because they stop people from seeing the important ones.

Wow, I really like that last part. "If you don't like it, tough." When you guys are constantly telling people where they should
and shouldn't post, it seem less like you're trying to be helpful and more like
you're being elitist snobs. It's your way or the highway.

Again, a bunch of you guys are dictating what is and isn't "useful" or "useless." Who are you to decide what is or isn't a "useful thread?" You're not moderators. You're not being helpful. You're just being annoyances.

But hey, you two and the rest of you "thread dictators" have inspired me to stop posting here. Good job.

Wow; I love a job well done. All I'm saying is that this particular thread was already discussed to a great extent, and that threads should start with facts and not opinions. Personally, I think that this particular forum is borderline acceptable and I wouldn't post here telling anyone to post somewhere else. I will readily admit that there are occasions where some people go overboard, but I don't think that this thread was useful enough to allow "stfu" to be used when one person suggested relocation.
