What is Appa going to do when Aang learns firebending??? Appa is?? going to have to have a lot of trust in Aang considering he is now terrified of fire.

Probably firebend away from Appa. Like he did in Bitter Work. He'd probably do it away from everyone just to be safe. He learned his lesson after burning Katara in The Deserter.

i honestly dont think aangs gonna use firebending that much even after he masters it, the only time he would is probably when fighting other fire benders, trying to protect his friends from fire

After Aang learns to bend all four elements, I think he'll still primarily use airbending just since he was born an airbender and has used it longer then any of the other bending skills.

Didn't he say in the Deserter that he was never going to firebend again?

he's gonna have to eventually, even if it's when he's an old man. he'd be the first non-firebending Avatar in history if he didn't (but we're not so sure yet)

He was mistaken. No living avatar knows the future, but avatar spirits (and other spirits) seem to. Surely Aang will receive a vision that will convince Aang that it'll be OK.

true, even though he now knows water bending and earth bending, he still uses air the most

It'll be hard for him to fight fire without fire.

I don't think he actually ment that he would never firebend. We all say, "ill never do that again" after doing somehting dumb or stupid. By my count i should have then broken my word at least 87 times.

Aang doesn't want to ever put loved ones in danger again...but it'll be interesting to see how he handles Firebending again once they enter the Fire Nation
