Aang and the siege of the North.

    everyones talking about how Aang defeated an entire fleet of war ships from the FN in ''The Siege of the North'', but i really have to disagree. he didnt do that on his own. He got most of the power from the Ocean Spirit, just look the episode again and ull see that the eyes of the fish are glowing just before Aang takes control of the water. Also the Spirit is swimming circles around him, and just before Aang sinks into the water, the Spirit makes eyecontact with him. I think its smart of Aang that he's not going to fast with defeating the FN and especially the Fire Lord, because at the moment he wont be able to without the help of a spirit.

    wow, thats a nice new theory... maybe Aang will need the help of the spirits to re-create balance on his world. ah well... thats an off-topic i guess

    i didnt make this thread to explain or learn u guys something. i created it to start a conversation about this: if its true or not? how much extra power the spirit gave him or if it was just guiding him? if this is true, will Aang ever learn how to do something powerfull like this on his own?

    there are enough things to talk about...

    Like Leo said, if you don't like a thread don't post in it. Allow those who are interested to freely discuss it. If no one wants to discuss it, it'll fade away into the mighty depths of the forum pages.

    This theory hasn't been brought up by anybody (not recently anyway) so people should feel free to discuss it if they choose. If not, don't worry about it and it'll eventually get deleted.

    You can't really criticise Aang for getting a boost from a buddy. Are you annoyed that the fish didnt get any credit? Shall we give him a medal? Aang is still a powerful mofo and the only one who could have defeated the fleet, he would have done it eventually but the fish just thought it would join the fun.

    To tell the truth whenever Aang goes Avatar State it isn't him...it's all the past lives of the Avatar channeling their energies into Aang like a Spirit Bomb(I had to make atleast one DBZ plug)...but still Aang is one powerful lil mofo...I know you all saw when he stopped a volcano eruption by blowing on it...and then more recently there was the whole run up like 200 feet on a giant wall then Sonic the Hedgehog the spike into the top of the drill(and humiliating Azula in the process)

    ok, but my point is that he has still a lot to learn before he can do a lot more like uve seen in ''The Siege of the North''. In ''The Avatar State'' he tried to gain control of his avatar state, and keep controlling it when he was in it (like he was the first avatar who tried this lol), but even that wouldnt have made him strong enough to fight the FN's entire fleet. for now, he needs some kind of a ''power-boost'' to do those kinda things. i wonder if he'll get a lot stronger once he learned bending the last element: fire...

    btw. thx for the help Leodegarioiii, Ultimate_ritic and ofcourse Pooldude . ow, and Ultimate_ritic, i DO want the fish to get a medal or something like that... i feel said for him. i mean, he also did a great job didnt he? hehe lol...
