    You see in the preview that cosmos Aang pulls away from small Aang. I think that's when they realize that Aang is being distracted??by Katara. Makes sense to me.

    And I think because Aang got so close is the reason if he leaves he won't be able to even enter the Avatar State. I'm pretty sure that scene with purple Katara was his feelings for her interrupting BigMe and MiniMe Aang from completing the training.

    Yes! Me too, my brain hurts, I have about a million theories! Here's my newest one. What if he gives up going into the avatar state and still loves katara, but since "love overcomes all else" he can still go into the avatar state, becuase the avatar state is also powered by emotions, emotions = love!!!!!

    hey! what if aang, like, has to give up his feelings for katara because she's distracting him or whatever, and then there's like this big discovery of katara's where she realizes how much she likes aang, but aang can't be with her and then. . . . she gets trapped in the cave with zuko.

    aaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!! oh no!
