I think Sozin's dad was one who made the nation highly prosperous thus making the "foundation" of Sozin's "sharing our prosperity with the rest of the 4 nations"

well, then study the roman empire, ancient egypt (most facinating culture out there imo), feudal europe, feudal japan, and imperial china.

Sozin's father seems to be the one who did the most. It seems like his scroll or painting or whatever that is is the most decorated. Azulon's seems a bit barran, like Sozin's grandfather.
And Sozin and Ozai favor. Quite a bit it seems.
