Avatar: The Last Airbender: 2 Avatars AT THE SAME TIME?!?

K, so reading around here gave me an idea-
Aang died when Azula shot him, and he was out for at least several minutes- maybe up to a whole half hour before he was on Appa and Katara healed him, or longer.
Now we know that the new avatar is alwasy born within a week of the last avatar's death, and I think it's entirely possible that Aang's "spirit of the earth" or whatever may have found a newly born/almost born waterbender to go into while he was dead.
Now I know he was revived, but Aang's spirit of the planet may have divurged into two individuals.
Imagine it- TWO Avatars going head to head against eachother!! This is good fodder for "Dark Avatar" fans.
I think it's totally possible!

How do these things keep popping up....

The only way I could see what the thread poster described happening would be if the southern air temple's santuary had something special in it that fully recognized the "next avatar" and somebody else accidentaly got into the santuary before Aang did.

But that didn't happen.
